A Little Note for a Friend

going a bit personal...Sorry dear readers, but this post really isn't meant for most of you. Actually, this post is specifically for one person only. Tammy, if you are reading this... well... this one is for you!
Tammy is a colleague of mine in the laboratory I work in. She and I have worked together for well over 5 years and we've always gotten along great. She has always been respectful of my faith, and has always been there for me in times of need. I definitely consider her a friend.
Sadly, I haven't seen much of Tammy the last few weeks, and today, I've learned that she will be missing for another few weeks due to a mysterious illness. I won't get into any details, but the symptoms are serious enough and everyone in the lab are quite concerned.
Anyway, here's the note:
You are in my prayers, Tammy. Actually, I got everyone at my church praying for you. I hope that whatever the situation is, the Lord will not only reveal it to your doctor, but that He would deliver you from this ordeal. I pray for the salvation of the Lord for you, both spiritually and physically.
"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16b)
That most certainly isn't me, but I have a few souls praying for you that DEFINITELY fit the bill.
